Where does Harvest meet for church services?
We meet in a nice commercial space built in Crofton on Route 3 South. Our space encompasses
a nice worship area, a youth room, classrooms, bathrooms, and a foyer. For the address
and location, please view our directions.
What do I wear when I come to your church?
The Scripture says that God does not look at outward appearances. Feel free to dress
comfortably when you come. You will find the dress ranges from casual jeans to suits and
ties.
What should I expect when attending your
church?
On your arrival, a care ministry member will greet you at the door and help you find your way
around. You will not be asked to stand or speak at any point during your visit to the church.
At some point you will be asked to raise your hand so that we can collect a First Time Attender
Information and Prayer card that you fill out upon arrival at the church. Over the next few
days a variety of people at Harvest will be praying for the needs that you list on your prayer
card.
Can my kids come with me to church?
Yes, you are encouraged to bring your children when you come to church. A nursery is provided
for kids up to 3 years old during all services. Classes for kids ages 3 years through 12th
grade are provided during Sunday School and Wednesday night services. During the Worship
service a children’s church is provided for kids 3 years old through 5th grade.
What kind of church is Harvest?
Harvest is an Assemblies Of God Church. Our church is a contemporary Pentecostal church. We
believe in God the Father, Jesus the Son of God and only Savior, and the Holy Spirit. We
encourage every man, woman and child to be reconciled to God through Jesus Christ and be filled
with the Holy Spirit. The final authority is the Word of God. For a more in depth look at our
beliefs and theological positioning, please view what we
believe.
What are the services like?
Our service is typically one hour long. The worship time includes a mix of
contemporary worship songs lead by a worship band that includes drums, guitar, bass, & piano.
We also believe in the importance of the gifts of the spirit as recorded in the book of 1
Corinthians. The gifts of the Spirit, including words of knowledge and messages in tongues
with interpretation, are frequently given in our services. Each service includes a Bible based
relevant message followed by an opportunity for personal response during the altar time. During
the altar time you can pray individually or have someone pray with you.
If I have questions, is there someone I can talk
to?
